CaZ Dust Warfare House Rules

As previously mentioned in my last battle report, I have introduced House Rules into my games of Dust Warfare.  Now I come form the world of pen and paper role-playing games where it is so commonplace for a game to have house rules that I pretty much expect it every time a create a character.  However, when I started miniature war gaming less than a year and a half ago, I discovered that most war gaming players don’t seem to like having house rules.   I know some of the arguments behind this thinking, but I generally disagree as they would be the same in a rpg and that doesn’t harm those players (much).  However, that is for another time.  This is an article on the house rules I am using.

Unit Inspection: Allies M1 Series Light Assault Walker

Built for speed and firepower the Blackhawk features a fully enclosed cockpit unlike the Wildfire and Honey models of the M1 Light Assault Walkers (LAW). However, the extra armor trades off visibility and agility yielding almost a zero net sum gain in terms of protection and durability in terms of the other LAW series. Like the other Allied Light Walkers, the Blakhawk is designed for rushing in and delivering its payload against much heavier armor in a sort of suicide gambit, or better yet, in massive numbers to saturate an opponent. The Blackhawk is also one of the best night recon vehicles due to is small size, speed, and weapon design.
