Dust Warfare Batrep 300 Points Axis vs. SSU

Once again I have managed to play a game of Dust Warfare.  I think for the next little bit, I will manage to get in a game with some regularity as my friend and I managed to construct a collapsible 6′ x 4′ table top to play at his house.  This time, the battle report has lots of pictures.

Dust Warfare Batrep 300 Points Axis vs. SSU

When it rains, it pours, kinda.  I managed to get in a second game of Dust Warfare this week, and this time it was on a full sized gaming table.  Once again myself and my friend, in which this was his first time on a 6’x4′ table and to the Friendly Local Gaming Shop (Olympic Cards and Comics in Lacy, Washington, U.S.A.).  Once again I played the SSU and he played the Axis.

Unit Inspection: “Braineaters” Blutkreuz Korps Ubertoten Assault Squad

Most subjects of the Wiederbelebungsserum never regain any level of human-like conscience.  The majority are like barely controllable animals that after being resurrected are unleashed upon the enemies of the Axis rather than commanded into battle.  This not the case with the Ubertoten Assault Squad.  The members of these squads retain their thoughts, memories, and experiences becoming a sort of “living” zombie.  Many so called experts reason for this is their fierce loyalty to the Axis cause that transcends death itself.  Critics that know of the program are quick to point out how much this sounds like the Wehrmacht’s propaganda.  In either event, these soldiers are insatiable for combat and have been known to live up to their nickname on the battlefield actually feasting on the brains of their enemies.
